Design Assistant_Style womenswear replay

As a part of the Womenswear design team, I've worked at the production of all the aspects of the design process including initial resources, moodboards, concept development, technical and seasonal line drawings and illustrations, use of Abobe Illustrator and Photoshop, prints design.

Assistant professor to a 2^nd year university design lab

I've worked besides Patrizia Fiorenza, the teacher of this design lab to insure that all aspects of the course programme were covered and I followed the students in all aspect of the design process, from the initial design research to the production of a complete collection.

A haute couture and pret-a-porter womenswear atelier/boutique based in Venice.

Design assistant

Worked as the design assistant on both the prêt a porter and haute couture lines in womenswear .My responsibilities covered all aspect of the design as well as the production process as part of a small design team. I had the opportunity to works in various areas as was needed, included  pattern cutting ,sampling/ toiling ,technical drawings ,design and illustration as well as hand finishing and beading for the prêt a porter and haute couture ranges.

- AMF Snaps _Bassano Del Grappa (VI) (01/2008 - 03/2008)

A company that produced accessories and trimmings for other fashion companies, based in Bassano del Grappa (Vicenza).

Design assistant

I worked in  the Research and Development Design Department. Here I learned how a collection comes together from the initial drawings and concepts, I researched and sorted new materials for fashion accessories (buttons, ect..), and all aspects of graphic design for Marketing and Sales Department (labels, samples book, illustrated catalogue, etc..).

My responsibilities included research activities for the A/W Fashion Trend. I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for designing pattern prints for buttons.

I assisted in the creation of the accessory sample books.

Multinatural Blackout Exhibition

Exhibition of some of my arts and illustrations for this event, created for Arto Lindsay’s Parade "Multinatural (Blackout)", organised for the Venice Art Biennale, 53^rd International Art Exhibition_Making Worlds.

Degree in Fashion Design, University IUAV based in Venice, Italy.

The Fashion Design degree course covers  all  practical and theorical aspects of the Fashion process:

- How to build  a fashion collection from initial artistic concepts:  sketchbook research, the manufacture of clothes, ( both machining and handmade), photo reportage of the collection, application of marketing and advertising for fashion (look books, press releases, video presentation..),pattern cutting, moulage ,illustration,

History of fashion ,the semantics and sociology of fashion.

School leaving examination: 110/110 e lode (full marks).

-2005

Secondary School Diploma in Accountancy awarded after five years of “Istituto Tecnico Commerciale L. Einaudi”, based in Bassano del Grappa (VI).

School leaving examination: 92/100

 

ACTIVITIES/INTERESTS

 I’m interested in all aspects of fashion, art, photography, music, dance and theatre.

I’ve attended a dance school for eight years, for whom I also design its advertising  posters and leaflet.

I’m attending a music academy and with this experience I’ve had the opportunity to perform as a singer.

I’ve done voluntary work with children of my parish and I sing in my church’s choir.

I also use the computer to modify audio tracks and to create digital videos.

I design cards for various occasions for a stationery shop.
