Review: Morgan is a reporter looking to get some inside scoop about murders that have occurred. She has to get Officer Audrick alone and try to get this inside info. Morgan posses as a stranded motorist and Audrick stops to help. He ends up taking her to a diner that both of them had eaten at on Friday nights. Dinner went well and Morgan learned that the local police were calling in the FBI to further investigate. Morgan felt bad for fishing for information from Graham Audrick because she liked him. He ended up paying for dinner and gave her a ride home. The thank you kiss Morgan gave him ended up being sooo much more. It went so far that he ended up claiming her as his and marking her. Morgan's boss had pressed her for the information she had obtained from Graham and she finally caved. She was to meet Graham at the police station for lunch and was worried what he would think of her for using him to get the story. She overheard the Chief of Police screaming at Graham about leaking information about the FBI specialist and the media getting a hold of it. He also kicked Graham off the case. On the way to have lunch Graham informed her that he had used her to plant the story about the FBI specialist and the argument with the Chief was staged to let the killer know that Graham was no longer supposedly on the case. Tit for tat, Morgan used Graham and in turn he used her. Graham had witnessed what the killer could do first hand. A family had been murdered and he had been called to the scene. He also had the opportunity to meet the killer up close and personal. The killer had attacked him while Morgan and he were sitting in the car in the drive-way to his log cabin. That's where Morgan learned that Graham was a werewolf and that the murderer was a werewolf as well. Graham had a sketch made of the killer and the police was circulating it trying to get some leads when a call came in letting Graham know the killer had been found about ten minutes from where he lived. Will Graham catch the killer? Will Morgan and Graham live happily ever after? You will have to read this book for yourself to get those fantastic answers. Melissa Hosack writes a beautiful paranormal about breath taking werewolves. I was mesmerized from start to finish. I hope there will be more. I rate this 5 Delightful Divas and a recommended read. More Bark than Bite is a wonderfully written paranormal romance by Melissa Hosack.
Morgan Phillips is a reporter who on the advice of a friend uses a rouse to get the attention of Officer Graham Audrick, with the hope that she can get some information on a case for a story. Graham is a cop with deep secrets that Morgan is going to have to come to terms with as a serial killer becomes obsessed with Graham, if she is going to claim the love of her life.
Ms. Hosack’s characters are funny and charming; with intelligence, that makes this paranormal story so believable. This is a fast-paced story, with an engaging plot and steamy passion that make the reader long to be one of the characters in the story. Even though this book has dark undertones, there is sparkling humor that just adds to the richness of the story. I enjoyed reading this book and stepping into the world that Ms. Hosack has created and would really like returning there in future books. This delightful heart-warming book is a definite keeper and a book that I would recommend.

Morgan is a reporter. She is not ruthless enough to get the big stories, and her job is in jeopardy. She has to get information out of that cute policeman who eats at the same diner she does on Fridays, but would rather just get to know him instead.
Graham knows that the beautiful reporter really does not have car trouble, but he also has a feeling that she is his soul mate. He should really trust his senses, which are, after all, a lot better than the average human’s.
There is a vicious serial killer on the loose, and Graham is determined to catch him. Morgan is determined to get the story. Their lives soon become entangled, and the killer has a new target. This killer is more than just human, but then so is the cop hunting him.
This is a really great paranormal romance. It has all of the elements I love -- a sexy superhuman hero, a beautiful and spunky heroine, and a truly evil villain that they must beat at all costs. The author pulls all these elements into a great love story that kept me at the edge of my seat in between some truly scorching love scenes. Graham and Morgan are a great couple that you will enjoy reading about.
