Class Description:
This class taught me the basics of programming in the context of Scheme. Under the auspices of Dr. Wayne Iba I learned a lot both about programming and about how to live holistically as a Christian.
Final Project: Swarm Simulation
The final project for CS 010 involved simulating the swarming motion of small critters. They would avoid the edges of the screen and each other, while a the same time attempting to align and move cohesively with each other. Taking a few creatures (each following a few simple rules) add putting them together to see their interactive motion was a mind bending experience, which has really instilled in me an appreciation for the computers computational power.
