Interactive Exhibit Design

This year, as part of my Public History Degree I took a class in Interactive Exhibit Design. This is an ongoing project, and one of my first forays into any kind of electronics. It has taken me a lot longer than I anticipated to get to where I am and I am still working on making the electronics talk to each other. As the project matures over the next while I will add my code and, if I can make the electronics work, a youtube video of my project in action.

Like most of my projects this year I have focused on creating an interactive map of possible interpretations of Vinland. This is building off of my specialized knowledge and actually stems from the work I have been doing for the seminar I was talking in the University of Western Ontario's Visual Arts department, Mapping Medievalism at the Canadian Frontier.
