America '05

Back to Main...

Ok, ya. I traveled the states again. This is my 4th solo trip through it. I know lots of people all over the place and know my way around well enough.

New York City

NYC at 12:30 am. Just outside Port Authority.

Even in the cold rain this place is exciting.

I loved the way all the lights in the city reflected on the water drops on the windshield.

I know Tekton from an online video game; Unreal Tourniment.

We met up for a beer or three at a sports bar.

New Jersey

I went to White Castle with Tom and Andrea. This was a big deal for me because this was the White Caste nearest to Herold and Kumar's place.

So we smoked some Jersey weed and ate out at a classey restraunt. :)

The first (and last) time I eat here.

LOL

They threw a party in my name that evening.

Actually, it was a blockparty. Lots of Fireworks, BBq and beer.

Life was very good.

Aaaaah ya.

There were a hundred or so people there; one Canadian.

After this I was on my way to Misourri. This is a pic of Indianna.

Misourri

This place has wonderfull scenery.

Every morning the fog would roll in through the valleys.

And the sun sets are A++

Like, wow.

Sure beats watching TV.

I went back to my favorite outfitter store, Bass Pro. The place is awesome!

The outside looks like a log cabin, but it's the size of a mall.

They have waterfalls, live ducks and fish tanks and more gear you can imagine.

Me and Bear.

After a little talk, he respected me enough not to tear me limb from limb for the photo. But the flash spooked him and I lost 3 fingers and a lung.

I love caves, this one was pretty nice. It was a tour... but better than not being in a cave I guess.

Sweet.

It's hard taking pictures in caves, most of the images didn't come out...

...But those that did were worth the sacrifice.

Whatever.

Christmas time in Misourri.

Here is a day shot.

And this is the same tree at night.

They put on a nice night light show that was great.

Christmas Village at Silver Dollar City amusement park.

Neat stuff, good rollar coasters. :)

The tops of the hills are called 'Hollers' because you can Holler to people on other hill tops.

This is all the snow that they got in Branson.

3cm.

Schools were shut down for 2 days!
