Some pure delightful - I hope - nonsense …
Theodosius is a snail who once he saw Amanda the Whale
immediately set sail
and went in hot pursuit of her tail.
Now I've got a lengthily mail -
which is one long anxious wail ...
His mum think he has gone beyond the pale.
Shown behaviour unbecoming to a male!
So should she offer up his belonging for sale?
Will he really have to go to jail?
And if yes, should she post bail …
If he comes home he’ll walk into a gale!
Recriminations will fall as hard as hail.
And she might even break a nail …
But I think love can never fail !!!
And - besides that this is quite a tale -o*
But maybe my rhymes are becoming stale? Tshee-hee-hee *O*
It seems that young Theo's "crime" isn't so much that he loves a whale - although that does worry his mum and she would much have preferred if he had found a nice little lady snail - but no ...
The real problem for was that he hurried !!! Snails just don't do that ...

But this is just more example - albeit humorous - of the fact that we always "hurts the one you love - the one you shouldn't hurt at all" *o* ...
I think I'll play some Mills Brothers for Regina - Theo's mum - maybe that will sooth her a bit *o* |
