The MedTech Academy is a small learning community at the School of Science and Technology, San Diego High Educational Complex. Our students graduate ready for college or other post-secondary training with an understanding of the allied healthcare fields. 

To achieve this, we need the support of community members willing to share their experience and wisdom with the students.

Community Involvement

• Be a guest speaker and talk about your career.
• Lead a science activity as a guest teacher.   
• Offer a tour of your workplace.
• Host a student visit to your workplace (job shadow).
• Mentor an 11th grade student.
• Offer an internship to one or more 12th graders.
• Support our fundraising in your office.
• Create a scholarship fund.
• Serve on our MedTech Academy Advisory Board.
