Medina Area Scholarships

This web site is an attempt to gather information about scholarships available to Medina County, Ohio students pursuing higher education.  It is compiled by a librarian of  Medina Library reference department from various places where scholarships were listed in newspapers, newsletters, websites, etc.  This site does not include scholarships that are national, offered through one's high school, through the colleges themselves, or the State of Ohio, all of which are valuable places to also look for education funding.

The timetable for many scholarships is that organizations and clubs commonly update and list them in area media in late winter or early spring of the year.  The deadlines for applications are often in February, March and April so that winners can be selected and scholarships awarded before the end of the school year.
For any changes to the information below, or updates, contact the organizations offering the scholarships.  Often the scholarships listed will be offered each year with some variation of amounts and dates.  Updates here will be posted as soon as we know about them.
