Pick a topic or issue: -Integrating and implementing healthy food programs into the greater Boston area. 2. Identify one or more potential community partners/audiences: -Food Co-ops -Local food stores -Farmers' markets -Bodegas -Community Centers -After school programs -Non-profits 3. Explain how network data and analysis could help with the issue: -Our work has the potential to give organizations, community groups, and individuals a broader spectrum of information and choice regarding healthy, organic, and locally grown food products. 4. Envision a final product for the project: -A map linking potential sellers, buyers, distributors, and eaters of local and organic foods that can be made convenient to and easily understandable for both the communities involved and the Boston area at large. 5. Brainstorm starting points for community research: -Begin to look up and contact: -food banks -local farms -after school programs -non-profits -Communities: -Waltham -Roxbury -Jamaica Plain 6.
