Projects: Above is a photo dropbox accessed by my mobile phone 2009: Micromouse - This is Robotics group coursework team consisting of me and Alex Sleat. Our micromouse is completely built by us and is designed to solve the maze shown in the pictures, it was also kept in mind whilst designing this robot that it should be capable of filling other roles in later projects and is expandable/upgradeable This competition requires the teams to build a autonomous underwater vehicle to achieve various underwater tasks, the team consists of me and another 2nd year robotics student + 2 1st years and a PhD student DriftBot - We have a partly free-form project for embedded microprocessor systems module so i have chosen to implement my driftbot chassis I designed with the PIC18 micro along with a small radio chip Details and photos to follow soon: HackBristol 14th && 15th March...we won some stuff :) (2x XMOS XC-1's) DorkBot...monthly technology event , attending a day long 'hack' 21st march Solar Robots... research into using solar cells to power small active structures |
