Development Groups:

Membership is by invitation only into the Development Groups based on assessments held during the general gymnastics sessions and from the pre-school classes. These children show the necessary potential to train between 2 and 3 times a week towards selection for the competition squads.

Elite Competition Squads:

The Meapa Gymnastic Club has an Elite squad of gymnasts where girls train for up to 20 hours a week for Women’s Artistic Gymnastic competitions and grades at various levels. The current squad is currently 30 strong with ages ranging from 6 to 16.

Membership is by invitation only. Gymnasts normally enter the squads after reaching a certain standard in the Development Group. New gymnasts wishing to trial for the competition squad should telephone to make an appointment for a trial session.
