Michael Cottle is a native of Detroit, where the minimalist nature of the city shaped his eye and trained him to visualize subjects in simple, candid ways.  With a background in industrial trade and an interest in material-based art, Michael uses photography to articulate line and shape in the most common subject. 

He and his wife live in the Atlanta area.
