9: Post-Deployment

  1. Print a copy of the VCR to complete with the APO during turn-in.
  2. Print remaining Weekly Op Logs and Purchase Receipts to update the physical unit Log book.
  3. Compartments wiped out.
  4. Gray totes cleaned and organized.
  5. Bathroom cleaned and organized.
  6. Microwave cleaned.
  7. Interior cabinets & other storage cleaned and organized.
  8. Clean hard surface floors.
  9. Vacuum carpets (have cleaned if heavily stained)
  10. Clean vacuum, wash out dirt cup and paper filter, set out to dry.
  11. Empty fridge, wipe out, turn off, strap doors open.
  12. Wipe down all cabinets and counter tops.
  13. Empty, flush, winterize tanks/plumbing. (if the system was used)
  14. Consolidate all trash.
  15. Wash the MCOV.
  16. If fuel less than 7/8 full, fill diesel tank to full. (do not top off neck of tank)
  17. Fill LP tank to 3/4 full, shut off main valve.
  18. Service generator if less than 100 hours remaining on oil change.
  19. Bring sat system online.
  20. Assure the Satellite Safety Switch is set so the unit will not start if the sat dish is up.
  21. Put the vacuum back together. (if everything is dry)
  22. Call for the APO to perform property check-in.
  23. If the unit was setup for dirty-side, call JR for system reset.
  24. Remove trash.
  25. Remove luggage and any personal items.
Perform unit check-in with APO.

The APO will supply the inventory transfer paperwork.
  1. Have ready the VCR for unit turn-in with the APO.
  2. Verify the bar coded items with the APO.
  3. Sign all necessary documents.
  4. Complete the VCR with the APO.
  5. Send final documents to Fleet Management and MDRC-Ops.
  6. Copy/Insert final Inventory transfer copies into the physical unit Log Book.
  7. Stow sat system, shut down generator.
  8. Visually check dish is stowed and all compartments latched/locked.
  9. Park the MCOV.
  10. Hand over all keys and credit card to the APO.
  11. If in final parking spot, turn off battery disconnect switch.
Meet with maintenance at the DC.
  1. Give them a complete copy of the Weekly Log Book, Workbook.
  2. Discuss and note anything they should address.
  3. Ask for a name, phone and email  to perform a follow up.
Mail your final receipts to Fleet Management.

In 30 days, follow up with an email to maintenance regarding any repairs.
They may want to ask you additional questions.

CC or forward the response you receive to MDRC-Ops and the unit email.
