McKinney North began playing varsity sports in 2003 and has won 5 district championships along with a trip to the 2006 4-A State Semi-Finals and the 2009 4-A State Quarter-Finals.  With a record of 152-87, including a 74-33 district record, the Bulldogs have one of the winningest programs in Texas during that span.
