FAMILY GROUP 1 participants below all share a common unknown McKenna ancestor. All report Irish ancestry. Some have paper trails to each other and some do not. Those with paper trails descend from Michael 1766-1864 of Co. Monaghan, Ireland. Three brothers and known cousins tested because of the unusual mutation rate in this family. All who have tested for 67 markers are 0 (null) at marker 425 except one; McKinney participant's 12 at 425 is is considered a one step mutation. McK*nn*y is included in Group 1 at this time; were they originally McKenna? (or vice versa?) or is the match due to convergence?
