We met at a New Year's Eve party in 2005. We'd both gone to the same college; he worked at the Dairy Queen 2 blocks from the house I shared with my roommates. We went to DQ for oreo blizzards all the time so it's silly Jesse and I never met. We probably walked past each other millions of times without ever meeting. We found out as things went on, that we knew many of the same people. I suppose I should have paid more attention! We shared a New Year's kiss that night (ok lots of kisses) and went on our first date at a wine bar two weeks later.
When I graduated, we moved in together. This Novemeber we bought our first home. I was really getting impatient about the proposal "thing"; kept saying how he wanted to get a new TV. I think he said it to throw me off...
