We started using the textbooks and began our first major unit, The Earth Moon System in October. Students will be learning the moon phases, and charting the phases of the moon for one full cycle. They will learn about the reason for the changing seasons, and how the moon effects the tides on earth. We will be using a variety of resources and methods for taking in this information: text reading, handouts, notes, videos, web sites, activities and experiments. |
