First, a bit about myself. My name is Brian McCollum, I'm 36 years old ,and I've spent most of my life in Texas. I have been interested in photography as long as i can remember. I started with polaroid instamatic and point and shoot 35mm cameras, but as i got older my mother let me use her Vivitar SLR. That is when my real interest in photography began. I used a Minolta Vectis S1 for a while, and eventually switched to digital with a Sony cybershot dsc-p93 I shoot mostly family occasions and nature, but would like to explore other types of photography.

    The equipment I'm using now is a Nikon D50 body with a Nikon DX AF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 ED and a Nikon DX AF-S 55-200mm 1:4-5.6 ED. I am very happy with my equipment. The D50 and 18-55 was purchased as a combo, and I added the 55-200 about 4 months later.
