Objective: Create a dedicated Gmail account for your teaching practice. Use it's features and create labels and filters. Go to www.Gmail.com 1. If you are signed in already click on "SignOut" on upper right. 2. Click on CREATE ACCOUNT. (20) - Follow the steps (write down your new username and password (can use the same password you use for other accounts) in your notebook. 3. Compose - attach, bcc, spell check, save, formatting b. Managing Your Mail Labels and Filters - 5. Practice what you learned. 1). Create a Label for a course you teach 2). Create an assignment and subject line 3). Send each other a demo email. Pretend you are student in their class. Homework: Ask you students to send an email to your new email address. You can give them an assignment. Label them according the the subject area or assignment.
