Teams HQ

»Intro

First of all, "Teams" are a new system that was brought into MNY on *date here*. The idea was brought up by me, ORI, and our fellow members threw in some (actually, a lot of) cents and developed the idea even further.

The objective of teams is to compete against other teams. What you compete with, are points. You can earn points by making a graphic, participating in an activity, giving out an idea, or contribute to the guild in other ways. Every two months or so, we will sum up the number of points everyone earned, and the team with the highest points is the winner for that month. Every time someone earns a point, we will update the counter located lower in the page.

Also, we will "refresh" the team every month, meaning we will change who goes into what team. The team leaders will stay in the same team, but the others will be in a different team every month. Of course, there is a possibility that you end up in the same team as last month.

There are 3 teams in total; Gakuen Bouei-tai, Mugiwara Kaizoku-dan, and Kuro no Kishi-dan, and their stats are explained below. At the moment, we have Ichigo, Jezac, and Energy for the team leaders, but Jezac and Energy is a substitute until the subcouncil members' schedule loosens up.

Each team has their own homepage and Forum. In the homepage, there are information about the team which helps you decide which team you want to join. The Forum is for discussing topics you don't want other non-teammate people to hear. And because of that, it's password protected. If you want to know the password for your team Forum, please ask your team leader. (:

Well, this is the end of our intro. If you have any questions, feel free to ask ORI.

»Joining a team

You can join a team by sending an application to ORI. Here is the application:

Why you want to join *team name*:
Second considering team:
Third considering team:

I'll sort out everyone into the teams, instead of team leaders doing it, since it seems more fair. It is quite obvious, but people with better reasons on why you want to join the certain team would have a better chance of getting in that team. So if you want to be on a specific team, try to write a nice reason that'll catch my attention.
But if you don't really care which team you'll be on, just say so, and I'll just put you in a random team.
The second & third considering teams are there just in case you didn't manage to fit in your desired team. But again, if you don't really care, please say so.
Also, since I don't want to have 30 people in the same team, I chose to have 10 people for each team. So, there's another reason for you to write a good reason to join the team. (If you care about them)

»Rules

1. When making an activity, do not make it so that it will profit for a specific team. Please make it fair for all teams.
Consequence: Banned from making activities, and a suspension from the guild.

2. Do not give out answers for activities unless it states that it is okay to do so.
Consequence: Suspended from activities and the guild.

3. Do not over-offend other teams. (keep it to a level) We allow some minor joking taunts, since this IS a competition, but don't get too serious about it. This means no badmouthing and etcetra to other teams.
Consequence: Suspension from the guild.

1. You can post them anywhere, in the forum, hosted on another website etc, but you should provide me with the link.

2. For layouts/ shields/ banners etc (usuable graphics), submitting them for this team activities means that you automatically consent to allow other MNY members to use your layout, unless you specify otherwise yourself (no points deductable for doing so).

  • Regarding use of another member's layout - "Use" here means that you can only copy and paste the layout coding into its designated place, and edit the specified areas. No editing of the code (this include background pics, font colours etc) unless you obtain permission from the original author.

3. Graphics/Layouts need not promote MNY, those that do will be given extra credit of 2 points for small graphics and 5 points for layouts.
