Note: This activity is yet to be released. It's going to be held after the KQ tournament. 8D
»Intro "Pice the Puzzle!" is a new activity made by Energy. This activity is a team competition, meaning it's not a member vs. member activity, but a team vs. team thing. In this game, you will be handed out a base "grid" and the pieces of the puzzle. To complete the puzzle, you'll resize and move the images and try to fit them in the right place in the grid using Google Documents. There are exactly 30 pieces for the puzzle, and each piece will be handed out from me. If you place each piece in the right place, you'll get one big picture. I will e-mail you the URL of the images for your piece, so please e-mail me using your Gmail account with your name for the title. This is so that I know which address is whose. ![]() ^This is the grid. You're going to move the images over this. Also, since Energy made this activity, she will not be participating. »Instructions 1) Make a Google account here. This is needed, because we are going to use Google Documents for the activity. 2) A Powerpoint file and the pieces will be sent to each team leaders by e-mail. To open the e-mailed file, go to Gmail. You'll see an e-mail with the topic, "Piece the Puzzle!". Click on the link that's in the mail, and you'll see something similar to this. On the left top corner, you should see a button that says "Share". Click on "Share with others", and type in the e-mail addresses of your members. Be sure to confirm your teammates' e-mail addresses beforehand! Also, please make the title for the e-mail "Piece the puzzle!". 3) Now, if you're a member, you will also be recieving an e-mail with the title "Piece the puzzle!". Open it, and click the link. You should be seeing the presentation page, which looks like this. 4) Time for actually fitting the pieces. I think I've sent you an e-mail with the image URLs for your pieces by the time you're reading this. Here is a screenie guide on how to insert an image. Once you insert your image, it should look like this. It also says in the screenie, but by dragging the white little squares, you can resize your image, and you can also move your image by moving it around with your mouse. Also, this Haruhi pic is just an example image; just so that I don't give away what the puzzle is going to be like. 5) And now, you know how to resize and move your pieces, so now it's just cooperation with your teammates! Also, don't forget to save your work if you finish something. If you're done with the puzzle, just e-mail the file to me, ORI. Oh, and no need to make it fit exactly in the grid. If it's not like too small or too big for the grid, it's okay. |
