The Mayflower Sailing Club is run voluntarily by its members. The object of the club is to provide facilities for dinghy sailing in the Port of Plymouth and to promote sailing in all its forms.
Facilities provided for use by members include:-
- Clubhouse, with changing rooms, showers, toilets, catering facilities, lounge and licensed bar.
- Patrol boats.
- Committee Boat.
- Well developed dinghy racing organisation, with a club line hut, start line, inflatable marker buoys and a VHF radio link between shore and rescue boats.
- Reduced rates for dinghy park.
- Clubhouse hire for private functions. See club hire page
- Courses for adults and children wishing to learn the basics of sailing or just to brush up on existing skills can be arranged.
- A large and active cadet section to cater for youngsters of all abilities.
