Comics and games by Allan Dotson
I have been drawing monsters my whole life. I have traveled the world as a documentary assistant director, worked as a video game tester, and received a BA in Art and English from the University of Lethbridge, and an Arts Education degree from the University of Regina. I live in Regina Saskatchewan, where I draw comics with the Valuable Comics artists' collective. I have also self-published three role-playing games (The Big Night, Sweet Dreams, and Fingerprints), and a small series of tiny comics (Giant Robot Head). I teach comics creation, creative writing, and game design at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Center, and also in Regina schools through the CREATE (Connecting Regina Educators and Artists Through Expertise) program. I have also hosted Comic Jams for local galleries, libraries and community festivals. When I'm not drawing, reading, or teaching comics, I enjoy climbing buildings, and playing D&D.
