The following is a book that Matthew started for a submission to the Black Library under the Games Workshop Warhammer 40k universe. Unfortunately it was too domestic for them as they prefer their heroes straight out of the Codex Imperial Guard  . He knew it was a risk but decided to go with a hero he could relate to on some level.
This is a story about Finn Singeorge and his friends Puer Kraiman and Stav Silex. Living a stable (but somewhat normal or 'dull') life they work for one of the biggest and best Voxcaster Houses in the Imperium, Bastin, in the system of Elsimate.
Unfortunately for them, an Orks Waaagh! lands smack bang in the system and they find themselves conscripted and off to fight a war that they feel woefully unprepared for. This is a story about how normal men become heroes. This is a story about love, dedication and sacrifice.
If you're a fan of Games Workshop and Black Library stories be prepared to be surprised. This is not your normal adrenalin fuelled muscle pumped hero, this is about how a normal man becomes a adrenalin fuelled hero.
