Marble Mayhem

A senior year game project at DigiPen Institute of Technology.

Overview

A third-person platform, action game with puzzle elements in which the player is a marble that can change between three forms that allow the player to interact with the world differently.  The game has platform elements like in Super Mario 64 mixed with enemy confrontations like that of the Legend of Zelda series.

Three Forms

Glass is the jack-of-all-trades in the marble world.  Fairly easy to manuever and an average weight makes it an ideal choice for most situations.

Rubber is the speediest marble around!  Unfortunately, he is also the most bouncy making him hard to control.  His immunity to electricity can make him very useful if shockers are around.

While lead isn't going to get anywhere very fast, its massive weight and inelasticity make it nearly impervious to basher attacks.  It is also the only form that can break down the pesky barriers.

Enemies

The basher is a big bully.  Fully convinced that life is one big game of king of the hill, he attempts to push any marble that he notices off the side of the level.

Though fixed on a constant path, the shocker shouldn't be taken lightly.  One touch in the wrong form will send a thousand jolts down your marble spine.
