Our LST team this year is from Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Two Information Meetings will be held June 17th at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Brochures in the Kamihongo community are being passed out. Posters in stores and at our church building are being used to advertise our program. This will be our first LST program in the Matsudo area, so please pray for all our readers.
Previous to this year's Matsudo program, "Let's Start Talking" has been held for about eleven years at the Tachikawa Church of Christ. A textbook based on the gospel of Luke from the Easy-to-Read English Bible is used for teaching the one-on-one classes. Each week, a party is hosted on Sunday afternoons so that readers can meet each other and members of the Matsudo Church of Christ.
The Matsudo church members have cooperated in helping with the advertising, preparation of an apartment for the workers to stay, and even contributing some of their personal belongings to be used by the LST team while they live in the Kamihongo community for six weeks.

Although in past years, toward the close of the six week program, Tachikawa church hosted a summer camp, the Matsudo church decided to just have our LST program. In the future, perhaps a camp could also be added. Many lives have been touched and changed by the example of the LST workers each summer. Some have even become Christians through the efforts of these young people. Please pray for those who will be taught this summer.
