le tuilier

In the north of the Provence, in the regional nature reserve the Luberon – full of stunning walking and cycling routes – lies the 17th century country residence Le Tuilier. The residence is situated just 1,5 kilometers from Oppedette, a picturesque village that is built against a cliff and where it is as if time has stood still. There are dozens of colorful, typical Provençal markets in villages in the area.

The residence is situated in the hillsides, at a height of 550 meters, and is surrounded by vast lavender fields. A mild climate and the fertile soil contribute to the plentiful fruit trees, grapevines and olives. In summer, the delicious, aromatic, and ripe fruit is abundantly available. The season brings also harvest feasts and festivals traditions in numerous towns in the region, such as the well-known “La fète du melon” in Cavaillon.
