The cantus is a student activity which involves the singing of (traditional) songs while drinking. Certain rules apply at the cantus, which will be given later. The cantus is being led by the senior. He will be responsible for keeping order at the cantus and will be aided by the cantor (Latin for 'singer'). The rest of the attending people are called the 'corona' (Latin for 'circle').
