My favorite summer activity is grilling in the backyard with my family.
I first got involved with MassSTAR when I represented Ursuline Academy at the 2002 3-day conference. After graduating from Ursuline, I went on to Colby College in Maine, where I graduated in 2008. These days I am working at Manet Community Health Center in North Quincy,  with the ultimate goal of going to graduate school for nursing and I keep up my enthusiasm by helping out as a senior facilitator at MassSTAR!

My favorite summer activity is boating.
Hi Everyone! I go to Dracut High School and am in the Class of 2010. This summer i'm potentially working at Hanscom Air Force Base as an Assistant Engineer, or a camp in Contoocook New Hampshire. I love clubbing and staying up late in the summer, and am always open for a day/nght out in Boston!

My favorite summer activity is standing under the hose after a summer run.
I just graduated from Stonehill College with a biology degree, and this summer I am starting a direct entry nurse practitioner program at Simmons College. My favorite books are The Secret Life of Bees, The Lovely Bones, and To Kill A Mockingbird. A perfect day for me would include running on great trails, a day at the beach with big waves, and having an ice cream sundae with gummy bears, M&Ms, and hot fudge.

My favorite summer activity is going to the beach.
I was recently accepted into a dual enrollment program at Bristol Community College, therefore, I will be completing most of my senior year in college. This summer, I will be completing Basic Training for the U.S Army Reserves and in November I will be on the ballot in Attleboro for Ward 1 City Councilman. I care about many progressive issues and I am an active member of the Young Democrats of Mass, as an At-Large Board member. I don't like reading books as much as I enjoy reading the Newspaper and the Encyclopedia. I take pride in my enthusiasm and my active involvement in the Alumni Association for MassSTAR!

My favorite summer activity is sitting on a deck with beach sand in my hair.
I am a recent graduate of Boston College's Lynch School of Education (M.A.) and a former graduate of Providence College (B.A.).  I am fascinated by communities and the small changes that can make a big impact on the lives of people in those communities.  I also love reading, writing, yoga, fluffy dogs, and the sound that blinkers make.

My favorite summer activity is drinking lemonade.
I'm a junior at Tantasqua Regional High School. I attended the 08' conference and had another amazing experience on staff this year. I'm a vegetarian who loves to travel, in just a few weeks I'm heading off to Alaska for a while. I love to read and eat icecream, preferably at the same time. I love to smile, scientifically takes less muscles than to frown!

My favorite summer activity is anything that involves being outside.
I graduated from Providence College in 2006, and currently work for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund as the assistant director of the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk.  I totally have the travel bug and I'm obsessed with experiencing different places and cultures first-hand. I get all excited about education as a way of life (everything you do can be a learning experience!) and a means to achieve things that never even crossed your mind before.

My favorite summer activity is barbecuing.
I am going to be a junior at Boston College, where I am an Economics major. I will be interning this summer for Congressman Edward J. Markey. I love sushi, dance parties, good laughs, and coffee. I am really into politics (local, national, and international alike), and I hope to work in public policy in the future. I have a special interest in economic development and working with marginalized communities in both the U.S. and abroad. I also like to visit soup kitchens and to hang out with kids. My favorite summer activity is sitting on my back porch at night with friends.
I graduated from Boston Latin School and now attend Boston College, where I am double majoring in Human Development and Sociology (for now, at least). One of my passions is education, because I strongly believe that most problems in society can be reduced with an improved education system. I attended MassSTAR in 2006 and have been volunteering with the organization ever since because I love the community and always learn so much from the delegates.

My favorite summer activity is reading.
I graduated from Boston College in May 2009, with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and in Management, with a concentration in Economics. In August 2009, I will be joining the MercyWorks volunteer program, at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls. I will live in a community of 14 volunteers, focusing on pillars of spirituality, social justice, simple living, community, and professional development. My job will be working in a residential setting with youth who have survived--in many cases--abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

I'm a junior at Marshfield High School. For the past 3 summers I have worked at a day camp and I will continue that this summer as well. I love the colors blue and green and I love ice cream! My favorite thing to do is singing.

My favorite summer activity is beach volleyball.
I go to school at Providence College as a biology major with the dream to someday become a doctor. I work at Payless which is awesome since I love shoes. The number of shoes I owe is running around 40 pairs. This summer I am also working at my college in the research lab, studying skin and cancer cells. My favorite book is Twilight (team Edward).

My favorite summer activity is taking overnight trips to fun places I have never been before!
I graduated from Whitman Hanson Regional high school in 2002, and from Providence College in 2006.  I currently work as an Admissions Counselor at Wentworth Institute of Technology.  For fun, I enjoy going to the beach, traveling, cooking and eating, theater and the radnom, on-a-whim Sox game!

I attend Blue Hills Regional Vocational Technical High School in Canton, MA, class of 2010. I am a MassSTAR '08 alumni. This summer I plan on looking at colleges, volunteering (Special Olympics, Life is Good Festival and more), going to the beach (my favorite place in the world) and working at my part time job: the Corner Store in Randolph, MA.  I plan on majoring in Pre-Medicine and I love music, particularly country and rock.

I attended Andover High School (02) and Boston College (06) and now work in Consulting at Forrester Research.  Along with acting as the MassSTAR conference chair this year, I also volunteer at The Samaritans-a suicide prevention hotline that I become involved in after attending the conference 9 years ago!

I am 16 and a junior at Dracut High School. I work at Laudi's Breakfast House on the weekends and am participating in a duel enrollement program at UMass Lowell. I love to read and goof off and play several sports as well. I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing this summer; besides going to the MassSTAR meetings.

My favorite summer activity is volunteering at NEAq.
2007 Alum, JF 2008, JOPs 2009. Georgetown Middle-High School '09 and Tufts, Dartmouth, or Harvard '13. I work in the Education Department at the New England Aquarium and volunteer in the Fishes/Wet Lab Department. I love volunteering and will be doing lots of it this summer, as well as relaxing with friends and family and getting ready for college! I care a lot about environmental issues and will incorporate this passion into my undergraduate studies. I love italian food, especially from the many amazing places in the North End, Boston.

My favorite summer activity is eating berries.
I'm currently a senior at Northeastern University where I'm studying biology with a concentration in marine biology.  I'm originally from Hudson, MA and I attended MassSTAR in 2003.  Needless to say, I fell in LOVE.  I'm the Director of Recruitment for MassSTAR and I'm so enthusiastic about getting as many students to experience MassSTAR as possible  This summer I'll be working as a Giant Ocean Tank SCUBA diver at the New England Aquarium.  In my free time I love to play sports, cook, and hang out with my friends.

My favorite summer activity is sleeping! (And going to the beach with my friends)
I am going to George Washington University in D.C. which I am super excited about. This summer, I'm working at the YMCA teaching swim lessons, in addition to attending grad parties and going on trips with friends. My favorite foods generally contain sugar as a major component, i.e. cake, cookies, ice cream...etc - I have an incurable sweet tooth!

My favorite summer activity is backyard volleyball and badminton.
I recently graduated Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody and will be attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in the fall for a 5 year masters program in architecture. I currently work at my local parish and an eye doctors in the medical records departmenet. My favorite food is anything that is part of an Italian Sunday dinner! I love MassSTAR and have been involved since I was a delegate in 2007. I encourage all to get involved and stay involved for such an incredible program.

I grew up in Avon, MA and graduated from Avon High School. I'm now a Northeastern University alum ('09), graduated with a doctorate in pharmacy and currently looking for a job possible in the New England area. My plans for this summer include passing my board exams, get employed staying active with my friends before they leave Boston.

I graduated from Northeastern University way back in 1994. Since 1996, I've been working for World Travel Holdings as Director, Business Analytics. Now that the MassSTAR weekend is over, I'm looking forward to spending two week in August on Martha's Vineyard with the family.
