    Got back to Vancouver and my money levels were getting desperate, so got a job on the Monday as soon as I got back. started Tuesday, working for Van7 (www.van7.com) Doing maintainece work on the exterior of buildings. Any building size or shape, all on rope access and Bosun chairs.   Just finishing up on the Neon Sign at the Astoria Hotel (see left).

Been doing that whilst trying not to spend money, but didn't get paid until a day or 2 ago, so I had to use my credit card (as sparingly as possible). A few big things have happened in the last few weeks, Roger has gone to Mexico for a couple of months before he heads back to NZ to finish his Honors. Noël (Roger's girlfriend/ the person I have hung out with the most in Canada) Was really cut up by Roger leaving, so has moved to Florida to holiday for a a month before going to Mexico City to catch up with him, so we had a leaving party for Noël as well. The short of it being that the two people that I know best are gone! But Paolo, my flatmate has been amazing, helping me out for a lot of stuff, I would be in a sorry state without the help I've been given by a lot of people around here.

    I have also been given a computer (really crappy but I'm managing) and another bike (crappy) after my first bike (cool) I was given was stolen. (Update: New Bike!)  Found some Speakers and a Broken Stereo, took it apart, fixed it, now have a good stereo. Cleaned out the basement of my flat, and found many things that noone owned or knew about which included a big sac full of clothes that was exactly my size!. I have 6 pairs of jeans, 2 check shirts, a jumper, 2 vests and an ear warmer.   Update #2  Free boots! Thanks Paolo

• Randy/Layhey

    On Thursday night last week, I went and saw Mr Layhey and Randy with Gemma at a bar on UBC campus. They are characters on a TV show that I love in Canada. Got to meet them and had an awesome night(see pics). after recovering from that I went to a Masquerade party Downtown which was really cool.
 

• Halloween

    Masqurade led into Halloween which is out of control over here, everyone dresses up for a week!  I went as a dude with a venetian mask.  As elmo was James, Natalie is Peter Pan, Mellisa is Cleopatra, and The crazy Lucha Libre Wrestler is Gemma.
