As a former engineer, Mary Wearn has a passion for technology. While serving as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech, she participated in a year-long electronic pedagogy seminar, which has greatly influenced her teaching. She has been teaching web-based and web-enhanced classes since 1997.

Valuing all forms of literacy, Professor Wearn sees her role as a technology educator as a vital component of her role in the Department of Media, Culture, & the Arts of MSC.
