Professor Wearn teaches a variety of courses in both traditional and online formats. Over the years, she has developed and taught classes in freshman composition, American and British literature, professional and technical communication, and digital media. She has also designed cultural studies courses dealing with race and gender.  She recently taught American Madonna:  the Culture of Motherhood in Red, White, and Blue and Violent Charity:  Puritan Roots & the American Imagination.
