CLUB INFORMATION

MONTHLY MEETINGS:

  • When: Second Tuesday of each month - except July
  • Where: First Baptist Church Annex Room, 81st Ave and State St, Marysville, Washington
  • Time: 7:00PM
  • Directions: I-5 (north or South), take exit 199 (4th Ave).
    Go East to State St. (the second light), turn left.
    Go north to 81st Ave, turn right.
    The Annex Building will be on the right.


    MEMBERSHIP:

    Dues are $10.00 per year per person, $20.00 per family
    Guests are always welcome
    Come and share your treasures
    Coffee, juice and treats provided




    FIELD TRIPS FOR 2012

  • Field Trips and Tool listings can be found at http://www.mineralcouncil.org
  • Field trips are open to all. These trips offer the rockhound the opportunity to collect a wide variety of materials from agate and jasper to crystals and fossils. Experienced guides familiar with the sites are on hand to help the novice collector find good quality materials. 
  • Most trips will have 8 1/2” X 11” WSMC direction signs.
  • Most week-end trips will have a Sat evening pot-luck, and a Sun morning free pancake breakfast. Material swapping, and tail-gating encouraged.

  • ALWAYS CALL CONTACT GROUP AHEAD OF TIME TO CONFIRM INFORMATION AND TRIP PLANS


    A small fee is required for Pow Wow and Madras trips. Additional information on these outings can be found here (PDF)

    • Where: Totem Junior High School (formerly Marysville Junior High School)
      8th and State St, Marysville, Washington (About 40 miles North of Seattle right off I-5)

    • Directions: I-5 (north or South), take exit 199 (4th Ave).
      Go East to State St. (the second light), turn left.
      Go north to 8th Ave, turn right.
      Signs for the show entrance will be on the right

    • Time: 10am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday

    • Free admission, beautiful exhibits, dealers, raffle, silent auction, sales table, spinning wheel for the kids, food and lots lots more!
