We had a small wedding with about 60 friends and family.

Our Ceremony was the Columbine Point - Snow Mountain Ranch

We rented out the Woodspur Lodge for the weekend -- everyone stayed there and we had breakfast and dinner together every night!

Wedding Day Bridesmaid Luncheon

I ordered silver charms for us to do a cake pull.  I had ones for the younger girls (14 year olds), the single girls, and the married girls -- so they could get appropriate fortunes!  Don't want my 14 year old sister being the next to have a baby!!!

Handing out fortunes...

My best friend and MOH got "the Bride"!!!  Meaning she's the next to get married...

Paul's sister, Heather, got "the baby carriage" -- meaning she's the next to have a baby -- clearly!!!  My step-mom paid to have all the girls get their hair done -- which had to start during the luncheon because the assistant hairdresser got there late!!

Getting Ready

Don't be fooled by the look of calm!!!

I'm dead sexy!

Tiara from Rhinestones and Ruffles at the Rosedale Mall in MN.

Wedding jewelry -- Earrings are Scott Kay and the necklace is from Carolee (held in my roomie's meaty hand!!!).

Getting Dressed!

My MOH putting the beaded clovers I made in place on my dress.

Mom fluffing my dress.

Close up of clover fabric on my train and flower-babies outfits.

Gettin' in it!

Nice face huh???

Our Rings and that box Paul gave to me for Christmas right before we got engaged.

Wedding Programs I made!  Monogram Mikita made!!!!

Beaded lily I made and handkerchief I have made with our monogram and wedding date on it.  I have them to each of our parents and we had them as well.

Cello, flute, and classical guitar trio we hire.

My Mom and Paul's very pregnant sister, Heather!   A month later they had their first child -  a boy!

My sister-in-law, Ellie, and my handson nephew (Jack).  Check out the tie -- it's P.I.M.P!

AND the purple silk pants!!!  Tight!  Needless to say my brother was NOT happy with my choices for his son!

Unhappy flower girl!  My cousins, Sophia, and her big sister Kianna.

Crisis Over!  Sort of.

Pre-ceremony Sophia showing off the wagon the "flower-babies" were pulled down the aisle in!

My step-sister, Katie, pulling the flower-babies, Gailya and Jack (niece and nephew), down the ailse.

They liked the wagon during the rehersal...  Not so happy right about now.

My cousins, Jeffrey and Kevin, unrolling the ailse runner.

My poor mother - not wanting to discourage any idea I had - glued each of these rose petals down with pennies underneath (for weight) and hot glue for hours!  She didn't think it would make that big of an impact -- but it really did!  The white fabric is curtain liner (if you're interested) -- it's cheap, strong, and plastic-y on one side!

Oh yeah  - I'm sobbing.

He sees me!  I don't know if you can tell but he's standing on the place mat with our monogram and wedding date on it -- so we could always have the exact spot where we were married!

Being given away.

Still crying...

And some laughing!

Let this ring be...

a seal upon your heart.

For a twist we did a hand tying ceremony - plus candles on the side of a mountain = not the best idea!  We also had my brother, Ted, and his wife, Ami, read a wedding charge and a friend read a poem.

Ami and Gailya!!!  Babies aren't that fond of wedding ceremonies.

Husband and Wife!!!

Shower of petals.

going...

going...

gone!

Too close to nap time for Jack and Gailya.  Sophia says, "There can be only one... Flowergirl!"

The whole wedding party!!

Paul's side of the family - mom, dad, sister, and brother-in-law.

My crazy family!  My two brothers, mom, step-mom, and dad.

Ted, Ami, and Gailya -- Stephen, Ellie, and Jack!

My brothers!

Paul with his boys - Tom and Erik.

Aiko and I!

Reception

Favors we made at each place setting.

Since we had breakfast and dinner every night in the same room the reception was held in -- I did as much as possible to make it look different.

Cake!  Topper I made, beaded flowers I made, table runner I had made.

Why yes that is a sword which we used as a cake cutter.  The sword was an engagement gift to us from our MOH, Aiko.  When she was in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Georgia, she learned of a Georgian custom for each family to have a sword (passed down from father to oldest son).  If a line dies out, then the swords are sold in antique shops where she picked this one up and had blessed in our names!

Admiring our cake and Paul seeing...

His Groom's cake!  Topper made by my friend, Ashemoo (Ashley)!

Wedding Day rainbow!!!

My pot of gold!!!

Makin' it legal!

While hugging Aiko after she signed the marriage license, it blew off the table where Paul caught it in mid-air.  He claims he "saved our marriage" -- that being the first time he's done so according to him!!!

Paul's best friend -- Tom and Anne -- married Nov. 2005

Pouty face! Paul's sister and brother-in-law.

Handsome Daddy!

Paul's friend -- Dan and Christy -- married Oct. 2007  - the mascarade wedding and reception!!!

MOH Aiko and college roomie Amanda -- my right and left hands!!!

My good friend from college -- Ashemoo and Jon -- married June 2006

Another good college friend, Amy (aka Poopface!)

As part of the wedding weekend -- we had a no-limit texas hold 'em tournament -- my cousin, Jeff, won.  Notice the sweet trophy he got!!!

Sophia and I.

Yeah -- she likes me!!!

Why yes that is my brother the pastor.

And my brother the director of IT...

having a dance off...

at my wedding reception...

seriously!!!!

And yes that is our videographer, Charlie Banks dancing with my mother!

And yes (as the DJ surmised) he was drunk enough to sing...  Paul's friend John.

We did an anniversary dance and Paul's parents won the bouquet!

Ted and Ami -- we hired a baby sitter so all the parents could enjoy the reception!

Stephen and Ellie!

My High School Friends, Ashley and Ryan, married July 2006.

One.. I call you my sweet one...
