MARUMBA is
Sydney’s premier Salsa and Afro-Cuban dance band. The band
consists of some of Sydney’s best local musicians. MARUMBA
performs authentic Salsa, modern Timba Cubana plus Latin American
classics such as Son, Cha Cha Cha and Rumba combining traditional
Afro-Cuban rhythms. The group’s repertoire covers classic
songs and rhythms of Cuba as well as modern latin grooves. Previous
performances include events such as The Avalon Street Festival,
Funability Day Festival in Burwood, Australia day 2007 Celebration at
Coogee Bay. MARUMBA has also peformed at Bar Broadway, Cat &
Fiddle, Head Quarters Bar, Bar Me, Duke of Gloucester Hotel, Paddington
Arms Hotel and at a variety of private functions.
