My Biography

Eric Martinez was born on December 26, 1989, at St. Rose Hospital located in Hayward, CA. He was the first grandson of the family, so he got a lot of attention from everyone. As a child he was raised by his grandmother, due to the fact that both of his parents worked a lot. His grandmother then raised him most of his childhood in Cuyutlan, Jalisco. Since in Mexico only spanish is spoken, this was his first language.

Once  his mother was pregnant with her second child, she stopped working and now took care of him. He did not consider her as his mother because he barely even saw her. This was heart breaking to his mother because he called his grandmother like if she was his mother. He was just used to his granmother, but later on he started to realize who his real mother was.

When he started to go to school he started to speak English a lot more. Since his mother also knew how to speak it, he learned even better. through much of his elementary years he attended bilingual classes which made him strong both in English and Spanish. He was always a very calm and smart student. This was because he had support from both of his parents in life. This is one of the reasons why he has been successful in accomplishing his education to this day.
