I hypothesized that higher success of invasive species in the upper estuary is mainly due to the higher temperature. I deployed recruitment tiles (N=6) in 14 different sites of Elkhorn Slough and have been comparing the coverage and frequency of invasive species and native species to determine if higher temperature facilitates invasion success of fouling exotic species.
