Extra Credit: If you want to earn a few plus points to improve your grade, then see the Extra Credit page. You can start earning points now; don't wait until the last minute to do your extra credit projects. Deadline is November 30. You may do either one or two projects.
A JU policy rule says that final grades must be curved for intermediate level courses. In each class, a maximum of 30% of students can earn an A+ or A, and a maximum of 40% of students can earn a B+ or B. At least 30% of students in each class will earn a C+ or lower. This rule does not apply for advanced classes.
English Education Majors: Look at the KOTESOL Calendar to see all the upcoming events for KOTESOL (Korea Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages).
Attend local KOTESOL meetings to get English teaching ideas and talk with English teachers from Jeonju. Meetings will be held at 2:30 on the third Saturday of each month in the English Cafe in the Student Union Building (Room 216). This is an extra credit opportunity.
