We all want the best for our children and most of us would do just about anything to make sure that they are safe from harm. We make sure that they buckle their seatbelts when they get into the car. According to analysts at Alexa Internet, nearly 1.5 million web pages are added to the WWW each day. The Internet is a vast and ever-growing medium containing billions of web pages, chat rooms, blogs, podcasts, wikis, movies, music, software, etc. It offers ideas and information to be exchanged across the room or across the world in literally, nanoseconds. Never before has so much information and media been so accessable to all of humanity, so quickly.

My belief is that with all of this information and power at our fingertips there comes a greater responsibility for its proper use, and an even greater responsibility for educating our children how to use it responsibly.
