Mark Village Hall is fully set up to meet virtually all of your needs - whether it be a party, a meeting, a wedding, a class or any host of other bookings. The hall is licensed for the following numbers:
- Maximum numbers of persons to resort to the premises 297
- Close seated audience with centre and side aisles 180
- When used solely for dancing 220
- When used for dancing and seating also provided at tables 156
- When seating provided at tables (e.g. formal dinner) 124
Over the last few years, an ambitious refurbishment programme has been carried out.
This included:
- brand new kitchen - Sept 2011!
- new suspended ceiling and insulation throughout the facility
- new lighting system
- new permanent stage lighting
- full refurbishment of all toilet facilities
- installation of new disabled toilet facility
- installation of disabled access ramp at main entrance to hall
- full refurbishment of changing room areas including new showers and toilet facilities
- new and improved access from main hall into bar area through solid wood folding door
- installation of a hearing loop
- new storage heaters
