Welcome to my webpage. I am an Associate Professor in economics at the National University of Singapore.
On this webpage you can find a list of my research papers and other work in progress. Most of my research has focused on macroeconomic issues related to the economics of development and political economy. Recently I have become also interested in the effects of fiscal policy on the business cycle. In particular, I have become interested in the effectiveness of government expenditures in stimulating economic activity during times of financial crisis and the impact that government expenditures have on the unemployment rate.
