Flute Instruction

Whether you are just beginning to play the flute, picking it up again after many years, or simply trying to keep up in band class, private instruction can help you reach your musical goals. Mariya Lincoln offers instruction that is unique in its well-rounded approach, based on individualized goals set by student and instructor.

Lessons focus on developing the whole musician, and include study of tone, technique, natural playing position, breathing, music theory, music reading, and ear training. Each student is exposed to a wide variety of music- jazz, popular, classical, world, and more- and encouraged to be creative from day one.
