Welcome to my quilt and art website! You can see some of my quilts and I will also tell you about my Art Study! After a lifetime of sewing, I started quilting in the
beginning of 2005. I had seen an episode of the television show Simply Quilts with guest Jinny Beyer and was inspired by her gorgeous designs. In the show she explained how to work with interlocking patterns, and she showed a few of her quilts. Jinny Beyer's book about working with these patterns is called "Designing Tessallations". At that time this book was not for sale in Auckland, so I ordered it from the USA. When it arrived I read it back to front and I decided to make my version of Jinny's Day Lillies quilt.
