Bebes Jumeau with Red Stamp ' Depose Tete Jumeau'

 By 1885, the Jumeau factory was completed, so Jumeau deposed a bebe model. Thereafter, 'depose' appeared as a kind of signature. Usually called Tete Jumeau, this model is an evolution of the EJ Depose and also of the Jumeau Depose face. I have three EJ Depose here for you to see the difference.

Though they were meant to be perfected examples, they were made for 13 years so they range from delicate pale faces to richer colorations. This is why one learns to be very picky when it comes to choosing a Tete. There are many different kinds. You will now have the opportunity to see some and pick out the details.....
