OTHER FORMATIVE (& time-consuming) LIFE LESSONS

Backpacking around Asia and Africa, always working various odd jobs next to my studies including being a tourist-guide, librarian, waitress and an ice cream truck driver, and next getting my fix of 'bringing home the bacon' and hands-on labor by renovating an apartment and a townhouse, and not least the continuous challenge of maintaing familiarity with my spouse and our two kids (Oona was born in ’05 & Babette in ’07).
