Healed

posted Jul 12, 2010 3:13 PM by maria bealer   [ updated Oct 10, 2011 6:46 PM ]

My sister had surgery to remove the massive tumor last month and is healing well. Tests show no cancer is circulating in the rest of her body. (same results from even before the surgery.) Doctors could not even test the tumor afterwards to see what chemo could fight it... because there weren't enough alive cancer cells to even test! Apparently the treatments she did had been working. She had some terrible ain in her knee a few weeks ago, but her husband prayed over her and it's been better ever since. My sister's story has definately made me a believer in God's healing powers. And it has changed me!

Berta's updates

My sister, Berta, is now doing chemo treatments every few weeks at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Illinois, in hopes of shrinking the tumors. After some tests last week, we found that it HAS NOT spread to the rest of her body. Praise God for that fear being taken away. After a few chemo rounds, we will see if it has gotten any smaller and she may have surgery then. It's been 7 months since her diagnosis.

Thank You

Thank You to everyone who helped me put on this event, those who volunteered so much of their precious time to make this happen and the businesses that donated so much! So many people said they had fun, and some even said I should be an event planner! ha. An estimated 200 people came out, many of them from the local dance community, and we raised over $5,000 for Berta, so the event was a success in my eyes! Praise God. Thank you so much.

And the winning bidders who were not able to pick up their prize that night, I'll be getting in touch with you. You can always email me at maria.bealer@gmail.com
