For tonight's homework, students will complete an essay plan which responds to the following question: Who is the better performer, Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber? Attached you will find an essay plan template with reminders and space to respond. You may print the template and respond, type your responses into the document and then print to turn in, or complete the assignment on paper. You must turn in a paper copy of the assignment at the beginning of class; do not email me your assignment. |

So here's the deal, English Students! You've read the plays, you've turned in your Reading Reflection Journals, and now it's time to get creative. You and your groups have the deceptively simple task of creating a 5-10 minute video that retells your play. Some pointers... - Every person in the group must have an on-screen role. If you are using puppets or animation, each person in the group must have a speaking role.
- There is a fine line between funny and offensive. Please do not cross it. If you think you may be crossing it, stop whatever you are doing.
- Your group must retell the major events of the plot and at least one subplot. You are more than welcome to include more than one!
- The final format can be on a flashdrive, VHS, or DVD. You cannot email me your final product! My email can't support a file that big!
- Remember that the due date is Friday, April 23, whether you have me that day or not.

Here's a link to an essay written by T.S. Eliot, the acclaimed writer. His opinion of Hamlet is, well, harsh. It's long, but if you want, read and reflect for extra credit. |
