Next 1st Tuesday (1 December) - Adrian Cook – “The Wandering Journey of the Ex-Corporate Mind” 
A talk about an engineer who gave up everything (at least for a while) to go on an epic journey. He embarked on a ten month Round the World journey to experience all the "good things" in life.

The Mountain Club of South Africa (MCSA) is publishing a new electronic newsletter with information about climbing and walking in the Cape. The newsletter is open to non-members as a service to the mountain community. A feature of the newsletters is that you can tailor the content to suit your
interests so if, for example, you wish to exclude MCSA specific news and only see news on topics such as security, safety, conservation, fynbos and the like, you can do so. If you would like to receive your own custom newsletter, click on Subscribe and select the topics you wish to see. You can change these at any time. News on GPS use and Mountain Meanders topics also get included so it is not only MCSA news.
