Fox at a House in the Woods

My subtitle explains the intent, which is figuring out how to put together a very simple website using Google Page Creator

Here's a picture of the fox around our house. She's recently -with our help- recovered from a bad case of Mange. Our neighbor managed to convince the local vet to prescribe some Ivomectin for oral intake. After getting rid of the sarcoptic mites and her hair, all that was left of this beautiful creature was something resembling a chihuahua. But more recently, she has started to grow new hair and her tail is gradually starting to become bushy again. Our neighbor Catherine named her 'Jane,' and it has stuck. Now it's Janey, our little fox. Jane is very young. We suspect that she was one of the two kits born in our back yard two years ago. Having 7 little ones of her own this year was probably too tall an order, causing her a weakened resistance.

Jane visits us frequently. She seems to have her 'base' across the street in the ravine. Lots of ravens accompany her with a loud ruckus to announce her whereabouts during the day. The sound of ravens now causes me and my wife Sherry to look up and around to look for Jane. Her kits have not been sighted for a long time and we do worry about their fate. At the height of her illness, Jane may not have been able to look after them while they were still dependent upon her.

Many Summer nights, and once in a while during the day, Jane shows up at our house to check in and let us know she's doing alright. Her appetite is insatiable and she visibly grows a Buddha belly after being fed chicken/beef hearts, livers, kidneys and gizzards that Sherry procures from the local supermarket, especially for Jane.
