You can also add a polygon for a point of interest. As as alternative, you can edit a point feature, click Add shape, drag the vertices of the polygon and skip to Step 4 below:
Adding a Street Address
To add a street address:

- Click the Marker tool
. - Select the type of place. Enter text to find an appropriate choice.
- Click the appropriate location on the map.
- Edit the attributes in the info window.
- Click on the ploygon tool

- Choose the type. Enter text to find an appropriate choice.
- Draw the outlines or boundary of the place of interest. View imagery by clicking Satellite or Hybrid.
- At any point to cancel the drawing, press ESC.
- Double-click to end the drawing. Alternatively, press ENTER to end the drawing.
- Edit the attributes of the place of interest in the info window.
Adding a Street Address
To add a street address:- Add a point or polygon (see above). Select Address / Plot.
- Click Add/Edit details. The Detailed info window appears.
- Unless the address has a name (e.g. "Mystery House"), leave the Name section blank.
- Enter the address number (e.g. for the address "24 Sweetbriar Road" enter the number 24) into the first line of the Address section.
- If the street name listed under Road is incorrect or missing, select the correct one from the list (e.g. Sweetbriar Road).
- As these maps are for public use, do not enter personal information, such as,
names, birthdays of individuals.
